Security

Clear steps. Protected payouts.

From signing in to confirming a payout, each step has its own safeguards. Here's what they are, why some payments are reviewed, and what you can control yourself.

01

Account protection

The first safeguard is making sure only you can sign in, and only you can confirm a payout.
  • Two-factor authentication

Add a second step with an authenticator app, so a password on its own isn't enough to sign in or confirm a payout.

  • Login alerts

When a new device signs in, you hear about it, with the device, approximate location and time.

  • Session controls

Sessions expire after a period of inactivity. See every signed-in device and end any of them yourself.

  • Password management

Change your password at any time, and sign out of your other sessions when you do.

Sessions and devices, in plain view

If you don't recognise something, you should be able to see it and end it.

Device and session visibility
See every device signed in to your account, where it was last used, and when.
Account activity
Sign-ins, setting changes, wallet changes and payouts are recorded in your account activity.
Security notifications
You're notified when a wallet is added, when a payout is confirmed and when sign-in settings change.

02

Wallet safety

Your payout goes to your own compatible wallet. These checks help make sure it's the right one, on the right network.
  1. 01

    Customer-provided wallets

Payouts go only to a destination wallet you provide and control. We don't hold your crypto in custodial wallets.

  2. 02

Asset, network and address confirmed before each payout

Please confirm that this wallet supports the selected asset and blockchain network. Check the wallet address and network carefully before continuing. Addresses are masked elsewhere and shown in full, grouped in fours, when you confirm them.

  3. 03

Only assets and networks shown in your account

You can choose only the assets and networks offered in your account ([Supported Network]). Use your own compatible wallet that supports that exact asset and network.

  4. 04

    Wallet change notifications

Adding or changing a destination wallet asks you to confirm it's you, and you're notified by email and in the app. [Wallet change policy]

  5. 05

We never ask for your recovery phrase

No one from our team will ever ask for your wallet's recovery phrase, seed words or private key. We don't need them to send a payout.

Digital asset transfers may be irreversible. Sending funds using the wrong wallet address or network may result in permanent loss.

03

Nothing is sent until you confirm

Payouts are where a mistake costs the most, so they get the most deliberate steps.
  1. 1

    A review screen, every time

Before any payout, you see the client payment, the asset, the network, the rate, each fee, the destination wallet and what you receive.

  2. 2

    Step-up confirmation

Confirming a payout, or changing a destination wallet, asks you to prove it's you again, for example with a two-factor code.

  3. 3

    A record you can check

Every payout keeps its status and full breakdown, so you can follow it from confirmation to completion.

04

Why some payments are reviewed

Before a payout, any required identity checks are completed and each client payment is checked against what we expect. It's a normal part of any regulated payment service, and it protects you as much as anyone. Identity or transaction information may be required depending on payment amount, jurisdiction, and applicable compliance requirements.

We may request additional information about certain payments to meet applicable compliance requirements.

Some of these checks may be performed with our partners, such as [Compliance Provider] and [Payment Infrastructure Partner].

A review is not an accusation. Most payments move through without one. If we need something, the payment shows Under review and we tell you exactly what's needed and why.

06

If something looks wrong

A sign-in you don't recognise, a wallet you didn't add, or a message that doesn't feel right. Act early.

Or email [Support Email]

  1. 01

    Secure your account

Change your password and sign out of every other session from Settings → Security.

  2. 02

    Tell us straight away

Contact us about any sign-in, wallet change or payout you don't recognise, so we can review it with you. Crypto transfers that have already been sent may not be reversible.

  3. 03

    Never share recovery details

We will never ask for your password, two-factor codes, or your wallet's recovery phrase or private key. Report any message that does.
